ℹ️ Stipe: Robust, whitish, cylindrical to slightly clavate or tapering and often rooting deeply; substantial superior to median ring, with whitish to brownish veil zones or a characteristic boot-like sheath below the ring

🌳🌲🍂 Saprobic on humus-rich, disturbed or grassy ground (parks, gardens and roadside verges); often reported sharing soil with other Agaric species (A. bitorquis, A. bisporus, A. campestris); gregarious; summer to late autumn
